It's October 24, 2016, and the second season of Supergirl is currently airing on TV. We are at a crime scene at the airport, Alex Danvers and Supergirl are watching the scene until a young woman catches Alex's attention. Not thrilled that someone is trying to interfere in her crime scene, Alex confronts the woman with the words "Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing on my crime scene?" and that sentence is the beginning of history in the making.
From there, we were taken on a journey best described in Chyler's words: Better buckle up.... its gonna be a helluvah ride ;)And she was right. We were taken on Alex's coming out journey as she slowly began to find her new normal, and develop feelings for Maggie Sawyer.
And every single scene leading up to the long-awaited kiss in 2x08 was a masterpiece. From the moment Alex came out to Maggie, to the moment she was heartbroken when Maggie rejected her, to the moment Maggie showed up at her door, pizza and beer in hand, and confessed to Alex that she just wanted to kiss her.
